Rothesay town centre is within walking distance where there are shops, bars, bistros and cafes, and makes the perfect base for a couple or friends to explore and enjoy this beautiful location. Glasgow is just 33 miles away and is one of the most accessible of the westerly islands from the Scottish Central Belt. Being 15 miles long, and 5 miles across at its widest point, the island is home to many historical sites including Rothesay Castle and Mount Stuart House, as well as beautiful gardens and walks for all abilities.
