Up the winding staircase you will find two double bedrooms with wonderful views over the countryside, a great place to enjoy your morning cup of tea. You also have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful walks right from the door. The owners have supplied a range of maps and directions for walks around the villages, so you can find the prettiest footpaths and the best views. Outside, there is off road parking for one car plus a stone patio area with furniture to enjoy. This area is steeped in history with the famous National Tramway Museum a particular favourite with visitors. Matlock sits just a few miles away offering shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, as well as attractions such as Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham which offer guests amazing views of the gorge from the cable cars that take you to the top. Nearby you will discover the high peak cycle trail providing wonderful experiences for all. Travel a little further to the north and you will find the market town of Bakewell with the famous bakewell tart to sample!
