Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail. First Floor: Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request ).. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack. External sun room with TV. Kingdom Cottage is a delightful, semi-detached, two bedroom property in a tucked away location in Saltash, Cornwall. This property offers peace and tranquillity, but at the same time easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants within this bustling little town. Originally built as a stable for a neighbouring house, the now pleasantly decorated cottage still retains some of its period features and oozes character and charm. The ground floor offers a spacious living room with wood burner, comfortable seating and dining area. This leads to the galley-style kitchen and bathroom. The first floor is home to two spacious bedrooms, both of which benefit from fantastic views across the town with the hills of nearby Dartmoor providing a backdrop. The light and airy master bedroom has a kingsize bed and bedroom 2 has the choice of either twin or super kingsize beds. For those warm evenings, the enclosed private garden has a seating area, ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining, and the adjacent sun room provides a comfortable indoor seating area. Kingdom Cottage is perfectly located to make the most of the diverse selection of attractions and activities. The A38 trunk road is a few minutes drive away, providing access to the beautiful coves and beaches of Devon and Cornwall, quaint villages and seaside towns, and the dramatic scenery of the moors. The historic city of Plymouth is 9 miles away, and Exeter and Truro can be reached within the hour. However, if you don’t fancy driving, public transport links are excellent, with the train station and bus stop only minutes away. Local attractions include the famous Eden Project, an amazing family day out, also home to several events throughout the year attracting famous music artists from all over the world. For the more adventurous, how about an activity-filled day at Adrenaline Quarry? For golfers, there is St Mellion International Resort, home to two championship, 18-hole golf courses, just a mere 5 miles away. There is something for everybody, but if none of that is to your taste, why not just savour the unique Cornish culture offered by this lovely little town? Call into one of the local pubs for a friendly drink, marvel at the majesty of the Brunel Bridge, take the dog for a walk along the banks of the River Tamar or simply enjoy a locally baked pasty and watch the world go by.
