This tranquil detached lodge is set amidst mature woodland in a nature reserve beside the grounds of a glorious 18 hole golf course. On arrival you may see the resident deer roaming freely, whilst on the horizon you can view the coastline and the sea. On the site, as well as golf, there is a picnic area, an a la carte restaurant and a gym (which can be used at an additional charge.) The lodge itself offers comfortable welcoming accommodation perfect for holidays. With a bright and spacious open plan living area, wonderful for families or a couple to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen is well equipped so that you can create home cooked meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table or out on the decking taking in the views. From the awe inspiring coastlines to the rich local history, there’s plenty in the surrounding area to do. Visit the beautifully landscaped gardens at Sewerby Hall next door, as well as a small zoo and delightful café. Just a short drive away you have the dramatic natural ravine at Danes Dyke or the soaring chalk cliffs of Bempton with its RSPB wild bird centre, where you can view nesting puffins and gannets. Bridlington itself, with its historic harbour, is just a few minutes drive away. With a promenade, old town and a golden sandy beach to discover. There is also the historic fishing village of Flamborough with the iconic lighthouse perched up on the cliff tops and seal colonies below, whilst inland you have the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. York, Hull, Scarborough and Beverley can all be reached in under an hour.
