The castle ruins can be reached via a footpath straight from the pod for some amazing views of mid Wales. There is easy access to the magnificent Elan Valley and dams, and the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park. Alternatively, pay a visit to Rhayader with a red kite feeding station and Welsh Royal Crystal workshops.
