Set out over three floors, the location provides spectacular panoramic views over Kinder Scout and the surrounding area, with the convenience of ample shops and amenities close by. For anyone with farming questions, the friendly owners are actively involved in teaching people about farming life. The owners have two stables available and they are just 100 yards from the Pennine Bridleway, which is at the end of their farm track. For those wanting to explore the area on foot, ample scenic walks radiate and pass through the area. If you’re out and about by car, although rural, there’s easy access to the surrounding Peak District towns and villages. The traditional village of Charlesworth is just 5 minutes by car, and home to village shops and some good food serving pubs. The popular and bustling market town of Glossop is around 10 minutes and here you’ll find ample shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a direct train link into Manchester. The larger village of Hayfield is also around 10 minutes, and incredibly popular with walkers due its close proximity to Kinder Scout. Venturing further afield within 30 minutes you have the beautiful village of Castleton, Edale which is home to the start or end of the Pennine Way, and the spa town of Buxton, complete with its new 5 star Spa Hotel (2020).
