Other nearby Pendle villages full of colourful history include Roughlee, Newchurch-in-Pendle and Barley where the famous Pendle Witches lived and where you will find Pendle Hill. A 10-minute drive will take you to Boundary Mill Outlet where you can indulge in a bit of retail therapy. Even closer and just a 5-minute drive will take you to the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford, where you can relax in the gardens, visit the museum or have a bite to eat in the café.
