The Norfolk Broads National Park is particularly popular in the summer and boat hire is available along with river trips, speed boat racing and a beautiful park from which to stop and watch the world float by. The seaside resort of Lowestoft has a lovely award winning sandy beach boasting two piers with an abundance of family entertainment. The town centre has a good selection of shops and a small shopping centre. If you fancy exploring the local area, Lowestoft is perfectly placed for Norfolk and Suffolk. To the south is Southwold, ever popular for its pier, the brightly coloured beach huts and of course fish and chips is just 25 minutes away. Other places to visit that are within easy reach are Aldeburgh, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Suffolk Heritage Coastline.
