Visit Blakeney for a spot of crabbing or Wells-next-the-Sea for its much photographed quay and narrow gauge railway that takes you down to the wide sandy beach with its famous painted beach huts. Or, head east and stroll along the prom at Cromer and stop off for a coffee on the pier. In fact, Norfolk boasts an array of coastal habitats that are sure to delight, including sand and shingle beaches, marshes, quays and undulating sand dunes. If you want to really pack in all the Norfolk highlights, you can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in 45 minutes.
