Thoughtfully decorated and furnished throughout to ensure both style and comfort, whether you are enjoying a glass of wine by the fire, soaking in the lovely deep roll-top bath, or reading on the lavender surrounded patio, you are sure of a relaxing break. With an acre of garden, peace and quiet are ensured, but if you are yearning for more action you will find much to see and do in the area. Within the nearby village lies Deopham Green Airfield, a site of historical significance that was once home to 452nd Bomb Group, which flew the B-17 Flying Fortress in WWII. A war memorial and evidence of the former runways remain today, making this worth a visit for anyone interested in this period of history. The immediate area also boasts fishing, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting too. The local pretty market towns of Hingham and Wymondham offer a host of boutique and artisan places to eat, shop and drink and a little further afield you will find much to see and do in the medieval city of Norwich. Coast lovers should venture a little further too and discover why this location has you best placed to explore. Closer to home you will find horse riding as well as clay pigeon shooting. Just an hour in any direction will find you enjoying a variety of coastal treats. Head west and go to Holkham beach, or visit Wells-next-the-Sea, with its famous quay.
