The living area with traditional beams and cosy wood burner lends itself to relaxing nights in, while Velux windows make it a lovely bright and airy room in the summer months. 2 steps down from the living area take you into the well equipped kitchen and dining space. Also on the ground floor are a double and twin bedroom and family shower room with walk in shower. Stairs reach up from the living area to the first floor master bedroom with luxurious kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with a fabulous roll top bath. Outside is a decked area with rattan garden furniture, perfect to return to after a day exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Close to the Yorkshire Dales but ideally positioned off the main routes of the A66 Pennine Way and the A1 Scotch Corner, guests will find themselves within easy driving distance of many popular attractions and locations. The historic and picturesque market town of Barnard Castle can be easily reached within a short drive and offers guests the opportunity to explore the popular Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle and Raby Castle, as well as the weekly farmer’s market and quaint high street. The Georgian market town of Richmond is just 5 miles away and is also a great location for guests wanting to visit the impressive historic castle, Georgian theatre, market place and also indulge in one of the many traditional tea shops and bakeries.
