Otterburn is a stunning spacious property set in over 1½ acres and nestled in a quiet rural village on the outskirts of Banbury. Otterburn boasts lots of beautiful and original features including exposed beams and stonework which is combined with a modern interior. There is plenty of space to relax and unwind and socialise together. There is a spacious hallway and a living room with a cosy wood burner, large dining area with bi folding doors and generous kitchen with breakfast area and seating at the island, all accessible from the hallway. The living room also has a large family room attached and the bedrooms are located in a separate wing. Explore the vast garden, woodland area, orchard and separate paddock outside the property with an added bonus of a lodge providing a games room which also has a kitchenette and shower room facilities. The lodge has a patio where you can enjoy the private hot tub which has far reaching views of the garden and fields beyond. If you can tear yourself away from this fantastic property, you’ll have plenty to enjoy and explore. There are beautiful country walks from the doorstep and the village has a pub serving food and ales. More extensive amenities including a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants which can be found in nearby Banbury, approximately 4½ miles away. A short drive will find you in the pretty towns and villages of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can stop off at country pubs and independent shops. Less than half an hour’s drive away you will find Soho Farmhouse at Great Tew, an exclusive members club. Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace and the location of Royal Shakespeare Theatre is only 17 miles where you can also go horse racing for the day. Other local horse riding venues include Warwick and Cheltenham, home of the famous Gold Cup festival. Approximately half an hour’s drive are the towns of Chipping Norton and Woodstock, home of Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. For shopaholics, visit Bicester shopping villages with an abundance of designer outlet stores, 23 miles away.
