For the outdoor enthusiasts, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park opens up around you with walks right from the door. Head into Wensleydale and visit the market town of Leyburn with an array of interesting shops, cafés and pubs. It can be reached via a short two mile walk across open countryside. Nearby Middleham with its famous Castle and horse training stables, is a lovely spot to sit outside in the market square and watch the world go by.
