Amazing location up on the headland above Strathy Bay and beach. Perfect as a pit-stop whilst journeying along the NC500.. Ground Floor: All on the ground floor. Open plan living space. Living area: No TV. Dining area: With breakfast bar. Kichen area: With electric hob, microwave and fridge. Bedroom: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Sitting-out area with garden furniture and firepit (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Orca Pod has been designed to a very good standard to offer glamping accommodation in a peaceful setting. It makes the most of truly spectacular views overlooking Strathy Bay and out to the Orkney Isles. The pod has been handcrafted from quality timber; the outside is clad in larch from managed woodland in the Lake District, which gives a natural finish to blend into the environment. Being constructed on a steel base, with cavity walls and rock wool insulation, means with the electric heating you’ll be nice and cosy when stopping off on a winter break. Good news for when you’re looking for the Northern Lights! Strathy Bay is an outstanding place to spend some time, and the north coast of Scotland is a very special place.
