Private parking is directly outside your window with space for bikes to be kept too. Directly outside your front door is a wooden bench for you to sit on and watch the world go by or daydream as you have a direct sea view. Inside the property, you have a basic kitchen area with a sink, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and a microwave but you are located 1 minute away from a plethora of eateries, pubs and local shops. Directly opposite there is a bar and restaurant with an amazing sea view. There is an open plan living/dining and generous bedroom area with a double bed and a lounge chair, coffee table and drawers. The bathroom is very well equipped with a shower cubicle, basin and toilet. The owner is very accommodating and very approachable and wants you to enjoy your holiday. Whether it is walking, riding your bike, swimming, or strolling with your dog, Mikro Miramar is the perfect place to stay. With the windows opened at night you can hear the waves gently breaking on the beach and this really can be a romantic seaside break or beach retreat to take advantage of in the summer. Mikro Miramar does not have wheelchair access. Just down the coast west is Eastbourne with all the attractions and theatres located in the town and east is Normans Bay which are both in walking distance. It is a peaceful beach close to the landing point of the Norman invasion in 1066, popular for windsurfing and fishing. Pevensey Bay is an old fishing village founded in the 1600’s as Wallsend, the end of the sea wall from Eastbourne. Even now it is only just above sea level, and at high tide in the winter, the sea sometimes breaks through the sea defences. The area to the north east, the Pevensey Levels is a natural haven for wild birds, flowers and animals and would-be heaven for any keen ornithologist. Visit Pevensey Castle where William the Conqueror landed in 1066. It is from here that William marched on Hastings and Battle. This is one of Britain’s oldest and most important strongholds, discover its roman origins, medieval dungeons, and role in World War II. This whole area is an amazing part of the country and submerged in history and a place to make some lifetime memories this year.
