The Forest of Bowland, noted for its outstanding National Beauty, and Ribble Valley are both nearby with an abundance of local walks, cycle routes and country pubs. The historic market town of Skipton (gateway to the Yorkshire Dales) is just a 20-minute drive, with Bolton Abbey being within close range.
