The Moorings is a detached wooden chalet with an enclosed courtyard garden located alongside the River Yare. The open plan holiday accommodation has French doors that open onto the enclosed courtyard garden with seating furniture, ideal for relaxing in, soaking up the sun and watching the boats pass by. There is private quay headed mooring for a motor launch, and this location is perfect for river fishing. The property is located alongside the trunk road leading to Norwich city, with regular buses and with a bus stop on the doorstep. The fine city of Norwich is 2 miles with its excellent shopping malls, train station, market square, theatre, restaurants, pubs, cafés, and a castle museum. The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth, 18 miles, with sandy beach, pier, promenade, fun fair, amusements, arcades, and town centre with shops, is easily accessible by car or bus. Wroxham, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 8 miles for waterside restaurants, cafés, shops and daily boat hire and river trips. The RSPB nature reserve at Strumpshaw Fen and Strumpshaw Steam Museum are 7½ miles. Happisburgh, Sea Palling, Waxham and Horsey are some of Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches. Beach 22 miles.
