Discover the county’s historic sites including Carreg Cennen and Aberglasney Manor or explore the heritage park of Dinefwr and learn its rich history behind its beautiful 12th century castle situated amongst a tranquil 800-acre park with wild deer running free. For an adventurous day out, try walking the iconic ’Llyn-y-Fan-Fach’ (Lady of the Lake), which boasts fantastic views over the Brecon Beacons National Park amidst shimmering lakes and tumbling waterfalls. Guests can enjoy themselves fishing on the renowned River Towy, bird watching where red kites can often be seen hovering over Dinefwr Castle, walking, or even a spot of golf or horse riding as these are both nearby.
