The delightful town of Fishguard is about a 20-minute walk and well worth exploring, along with the lower town of Fishguard where the River Gwaun meanders through the valley and meets at the pretty harbour of lower town where you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and homemade cake from the café. The rugged North Pembrokeshire coastline is perfect for the chance of spotting a dolphin with boat trips leaving regularly from nearby Cardigan. Inland, you may stumble across the majestic Cenarth Falls, which if you time it right in the autumn, you can see the salmon and sea trout leaping up the falls which really is a magnificent sight.
