Offering a warm welcome and with a contemporary feel, this property is ideal for a family of six or a group of friends looking to enjoy this beautiful part of North Yorkshire. The open plan living area is well planned and flooded with natural light from the patio doors which lead out to the enclosed patio area. The underfloor heating provides a warm welcome and will be comforting during the cooler winter months. To the first floor are three comfortable bedrooms offering a mixture of twin and double beds. The local pub is just across the corner and serves delicious meals and traditional ale; there is also a well stocked village shop, just across the road, a wine merchant and a delicious deli which is a very popular watering hole for both cyclists and walkers alike. A takeaway can also be found within walking distance. The remains of the 14th century Sheriff Hutton Castle keeps a watchful eye over the village; the castle was one of Richard III’s favourite castles! You can even see it from the rear main bedroom. There is a bus stop adjacent to the property with buses to York, Malton and Castle Howard. A short drive brings you to Castle Howard, famous as the home of Brideshead Revisited. With a year round programme of events a visit here is a must. This area is just perfect for those who enjoy walking and cycling with miles of lanes, public footpaths and bridle ways to explore. York golf course is also a 5-minute drive away. A little further afield is the iconic City of York, home to a plethora of world renowned visitor attractions.
