Ground Floor: Living room 1: With wood burner and 32" Freeview TV. Living room 2: With wood burner and 42" Freeview Smart TV. Sun room. Kitchen: With electric oven, electric Aga, fridge and dishwasher. Utility room: With washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bedroom 1: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request). Bedroom 2: With single bed. Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet. First Floor: Bedroom 3: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request). Bedroom 4: With super kingsize bed. Bedroom 5: With double bed. Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Night storage heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Bike/surfboard store. ⅓-acre grounds with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 5 cars. No smoking. Sorry, no stag or hen parties. Situated in the quaint village of Dunsford and lying at the eastern reaches of Dartmoor National Park, Brimblecombes is a spacious, detached and thatched cottage accommodating up to nine guests across 5 bedrooms. This 15th -century grade II listed property showcases beautiful original features such as oak beamed ceilings, cob walls, medieval wall panels and two cosy wood burners. Woodland views, the Teign Valley and thatched cottages await, and the house is conveniently located close to tea rooms, a village pub, post office and shop. Some of the most renowned natural beauty in the UK is on the doorstep of this property. There are ample spaces to socialize with fellow guests including the two living rooms and a sunroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full range of appliances and a large dining table. Perfect for enjoying a home cooked meal after a fun-filled day exploring Devon. The two cosy living rooms each have a wood burner, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with Freeview. There are plenty of books of all genres for guests to read. Although the property doesn’t have central heating, the are night storage heaters, plus an Aga and two wood burners, with an unlimited supply of logs. There is a utility room, shower room and two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a single bed and the other with a super kingsize bed (split to twins on request). Upstairs are a family bathroom and three comfortably furnished bedrooms comprising of a standard double, a super kingsize double and a kingsize that can be split into twins on request. Enjoy the peaceful enclosed garden with its large lawn and patio area, uninterrupted views, plentiful outdoor seating and a charcoal barbeque. Read a book on the bench, enjoy your favorite beverage on the patio area or chill out on the lawn. Situated in one of Devon’s most popular and unspoilt areas, you can enjoy some delightful country walks directly from the property. The waterfalls, lakes and ancient woodlands of Canonteign Falls are just 6 miles away and the Teign Valley Golf Course is within 5 miles. Within Dartmoor National Park there is excellent opportunity for outdoor pursuits- enjoy walking and hiking around the local reservoirs, explore the ancient Tors on the moor or a cream tea in Chagford. A haven for wildlife and Dartmoor wild ponies awaits you. Whether you want a quiet gentle stroll or an exhilarating mountain biking experience, there’s something for everyone at Haldon Forest Park. South Devon’s bustling seaside resorts beckon and are just a short drive away and include Teignmouth, Sidmouth, Dawlish and Exmouth.
