Just a short stroll from the stunning sandy beach, this detached cottage has an enclosed lawned garden to the rear, which makes a great space to return to and relax in whilst enjoying the last of the evening sunshine. The village of Bacton is very pet friendly and offers coastal walks, and nearby Bacton wood is ideal for walking and picnic opportunities. The village has great pubs serving food, restaurants, a fish and chip shop, a café and an ice cream parlour. The seaside resorts of Cromer, 13 miles, and Sheringham, 17 miles, provide a great day out. Be sure to bring your sea fishing rod and catch your supper! Wroxham, the Capital of the Broads, is within easy reach. The stark natural beauty of the Broads is best appreciated from the water, and with daily river trips or boats to hire, Wroxham is as good a place as any to start down the River Bure. For avid gardeners, a visit to the Old Vicarage Gardens at East Ruston and Hoveton Estate is a must, and golfers won’t be disappointed with the the Royal Norwich Golf Course, or clifftop course at Sheringham and the golf club in Mundesley, both nearby. National Trust properties in the vicinity include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Horsey Windpump. Visit Horsey Beach between December and February for your chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore.
