Here at Scoresby Cottage the whole family can enjoy holidays together to the coast. Set in idyllic farmland, Scoresby Cottage is an accessible spacious barn conversion, boasting character and charm as well as beautiful surroundings. Located within the farm grounds with its own patio and lawned garden with a seating area ideal for dining in the sunshine. Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding North Yorkshire Moors National Park. With private off-road parking, there is a ramp at the front door to ensure easy access. The doorways are all wide access, with low thresholds, allowing wheelchair users to have easy access throughout the ground floor. You have an open plan living area, with a wood burning stove ensuring you have a warm welcome. The lounge is designed with your comfort in mind, with the bonus of an electric rise and recline chair. You have a dining table as well as a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for creating your favourite meals together. On the ground floor you have a twin bedroom complete with a fully profiling bed with integral cot sides as well as a divan type electric bed. There are also hoists available if required. The ground floor wet room has under floor heating, a restored Victorian cast iron bath as well as a wheelchair accessible shower, there is a choice of shower chairs available. The layout has been carefully designed to provide guests with a wide range of mobility their independence as well as the home comforts which ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
