This welcoming cottage is perfect for couples or a small family; all on one level the open plan living space includes a kitchen area, dining area and living area with a cosy wood burner. This cottage has been thoughtfully furnished and provides you with everything you will need for your holiday. Preparing a special meal, sitting round the table to plan the day’s activities or curling up with a book for a lazy day. Patio doors lead to the pretty garden with a summer house and a barbecue is provided for al fresco dining. There are two beautifully presented bedrooms, master bedroom with a kingsize bed and a twin bedroom. There is also a family shower room that completes the picture. You can walk into the village centre which has some interesting local shops, deli, local butcher, greengrocer and bakers. If you prefer to dine out the local hotels provide good quality food and ales. Comrie is situated on the River Earn and is surrounded by fabulous scenery with riverside walks or take a walk out into the hills. The hills and glens of this area of Perthshire make it the ideal location for a holiday in the countryside, walking, cycling, fishing and water sports. You are surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in Scotland including the famous Gleneagles. For days out Drummond Castle and its beautiful gardens are well worth a visit, The Famous Grouse Distillery offers great in sight into the history and production of Scotland’s national drink. To explore further afield Perth, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are within driving distance for a day out. Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour’s drive away.
