Dunmorris Cottage is a brilliantly located holiday home in the small coastal village of Embo near Dornoch. Only 200 yards from glorious Embo Beach, it’s a brilliant cottage for the whole family to enjoy a classic seaside holiday. This lovely property offers on the ground floor a living/diningg room with Sky TV, a well-equpped kitchen and the family shower room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, all the double and kingsized beds have high quality memory foam matresses to aid a good nights sleep. In Embo you have the coast bar and restaurant for those evenings you don’t want to cook for the family, and being so close to fabulous Dornoch, there are many places to eat and drink near to the cottage. Dornoch is a historic place with a small cathedral, old castle and jail, a world-famous whisky shop, a new distillery, another sandy beach, and last but not least, one of the best best golf courses in the world at Royal Dornoch. Front Street Cottage is a brilliant choice for those wanting to spend a week golfing at Dornoch and other nearby courses; as well as Royal Dornoch, you have fantastic courses at Golspie, Tain and Brora, as well as many other further afield, including Castle Stuart Golf Links. Highland golf has many hidden historic gems designed by the likes of Old Tom Morris and James Braid. A week isn’t enough to play all the quality local tracks! Embo is an excellent place to base yourself for adventures in the Northern Highlands as the North Coast 500 is only a mile away from the village. You can explore the far north east coast with ease and be in John O’Groats in just over an hour. The interior roads are worth driving and exploring too, especially inland along the River Helmsdale and then Halladale to go from east to north coast.
