The lower levels boast underfloor heating, and in the impressive country kitchens you’ll find granite work tops, and everything needed to cook up a storm. Upstairs the beautiful light and airy bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities, and uniquely some overlook the dairy farm offering a real insight into everyday life. Ample countryside footpaths for short walks or long-haul treks are available from the cottages, which are perfectly placed for exploring all the Peak District has to offer. Tideswell itself is just 4 miles away and is a thriving village home to a good selection of pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and bakeries. Beyond Tideswell the whole of the Peak District is just waiting to be explored. The fascinating plague village of Eyam is around a 15-minute drive, as is the honeypot village of Castleton and Mam Tor. The popular spa town of Buxton can be reached in around 20 minutes and together with its famous Opera House and Pavilion Gardens you’ll now find 5* Spa Hotel perfect for indulgent pampering. Finally, Bakewell and Chatsworth House can each be reached in approximately 20 minutes.
