Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, the area is renowned for excellent picturesque walks which radiate from the village, and dependent on your ability, range from short ambles to long haul treks. The traffic free Manifold Valley Way is also easily accessible, and the area around Dovedale should definitely not be missed. Set mid-way between Buxton and Leek. both 15 minutes, ample amenities are available at either sizeable town, and a whole host of other Peak District towns, villages and attractions are within easy reach.
