For those looking to enjoy a walk, you can head straight out from the property and walk up to the Llangattock Mountain, where some fabulous views can be enjoyed. The Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal is 2 minutes away and also provides idyllic walking opportunities along the historic tow path, as well as many potential pub lunches along the way. The award-winning town of Crickhowell is only a scenic 15-minute walk away. Named ’The Best Place to Live in Wales in 2019’ by the Sunday Times, and also ’The Best High Street in Britain 2018’, the town is delightful to walk round and browse the many boutiques. There are also many coffee shops, pubs restaurants. For those who enjoy music festivals, Crickhowell is home to the Green Man Festival during August, the Walking Festival in March and the Literary Festival in October.
