Nestled behind, separated from, is the owners livery yard with their grazing horses and pasture meadows. Guests are welcomed to enjoy visits to the grazing horses, with agreed supervision by the owner. Suton is a small settlement just 6 minutes’ drive from historic Wymondham market town and Wymondham Abbey ; having supermarkets, shops, cafés and restaurants. Visit the amazing coastline with excellent sandy beaches, coastal path, RSPB nature and bird reserves which are an hours’ drive. Visit the Sandringham Royal Estate, 46 miles, open to the public when the Royals are not in residence. Excellent City of Norwich is within 12 miles, with many shops, two indoor shopping malls, a cathedral, theatre, castle museum, market square, cafés and restaurants. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, is 22 miles away, with daily boat hire and river trips, shopping and waterside restaurants. Also worth a visit is Holt and its Country Park, 33 miles, Blakeney Quay and Wells-next-the-Sea, 44 miles, both with picturesque harbour, excellent sandy beach, shops, cafés and restaurants. Newmarket and Cambridge are both within 90 minutes’ drive. Southwold Pier 41 miles. National Trust properties including Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Gardens and Oxburgh Hall are all well worth a visit. For adventure and activities, Thetford Forest is 22 miles, where you can hire a Segway and there are designated walking and cycle routes for all abilities and picnic areas. For the kids, Banham Zoo is only 9.5 miles away, and Melsop Farm Park for petting animals and children’s adventure play area is 10 miles. There is also a swimming pool 10 miles away. Explore Grimes Graves, an interesting, Neolithic flint mine, 24 miles away, and Castle Acre Priory ruins, 32 miles, is a preserved monastic site. Enjoy a ride on the Bressingham Steam Railway, 14 miles, and explore the steam collections and official Dad’s Army exhibition. Norfolk Tank Museum at Forncett St Peter is 8 miles.
