Dolwyddelan is a charming village right in the heart of Snowdonia, and a short stroll from the cottage you’ll find the village shop which sells all the essentials you’ll need. If you don’t fancy cooking there’s also a couple of welcoming pubs to enjoy. A real walkers paradise with some spectacular routes right on the doorstep to enjoy; Moel Siabod stands just North of Dolwyddelan and many Mount Snowdon routes are also only a short drive from the cottage. The village is nestled between Betws Y Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog which is home to Zip World. In Betws Y Coed only 6 miles distance, there’s golfing to enjoy, fishing and plenty of independent shops to peruse. Nearby you’ll also find world renowned bike trails, and areas where you can enjoy the ever-popular kayaking and paddle boarding from. Further down the coast is Conwy with many historical sights, from a UNESCO Castle to an Elizabethan Manor, there’s also a charming harbour which is home to Britain’s smallest House.
