Ysgubor Celyn Megan is Welsh for Megan’s Holly Barn, and is a charming, detached barn conversion located in the scenic village of LLwynmawr, just a few miles from Llangollen. This delightful barn has been stylishly designed and renovated to offer a spacious property suitable for family celebrations or groups of friends. It has a well-appointed kitchen featuring a centre island. The adjacent dining room with dining table, open fire and direct access via patio doors to the garden. The spacious and comfortable living room with a high vaulted beamed ceiling, provides the perfect place to relax for the evening. It benefits from Sky TV, open fire and stunning views across the valley. There are four bedrooms over the two floors. Two Kingsize doubles are situated on the first floor, in the older part of the cottage, showcasing exposed beams and unique features. The other two bedrooms, a Kingsize double en-suite and a family room, are on the ground floor. There is additional double sleeping in the living room in the form of a double sofa bed. This cottage is not short of space on the outside either. The fully enclosed securely fenced gardens around the property features relaxing patios and lawns providing a safe area for children and dogs to play. This property is ideally situated for walkers with lots of door step walks, fun days out or just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Ceiriog Valley, its a slower pace of life. Just a short stroll will take you to a delightful country inn, The Mulberry which has an excellent reputation for its well-stocked bar and award-winning food. Explore the magnificent Ceiriog Valley with the River Ceiriog running through the village of LLwynmawr and along through Chirk providing a fabulous route for those who enjoy a walk. From here you can also access the famous Offa’s Dyke path which provides stunning trails through woodlands, hill forts, castles, and stunning Welsh scenery. Just a few miles away are the popular towns of Chirk and Llangollen, with many other places of interest such as Chirk Castle, the Roman city of Chester, Snowdonia National Park and Zip World to name but a few.
