A walkers’ paradise, there are plenty of rambles from the doorstep, and the wonderful bird and sea life of this dramatic coast is easily spotted from the quaint fishing villages along the bottom of the cliffs a short drive away. Visit nearby Banff, home to Duff House, a country house gallery with extensive woodland and riverside walks on the banks of the Deveron, and Duff House Royal golf course open to non-members. The Marine Aquarium at neighbouring Macduff is well worth a visit or you may wish to explore the plentiful supply of historic buildings and dramatic ruins which populate this fascinating area.
