Originally a 19th-century coach house, this lovely detached property has been lovingly converted to give really spacious accommodation for four people. The large entrance hallway leads to a bright conservatory with seating and a dining table, which overlooks the pretty patio to the front of the house. The very spacious living room has a full height, exposed A frame and beams, and a feature galleried sitting area on the first floor that overlooks the living room. There are comfortable leather chairs and a wood burner - imagine curling up with a good book and a glass of wine, bliss! The kitchen has a little breakfast table for your morning coffee and croissant. There is a ground floor double bedroom and a very smart shower room with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a kingsize bed, so is ideal for two couples holidaying together. Rhydyfran Coach House sits within 8 acres of the owner’s land and they live adjacent. They are happy for you to take full advantage of the grounds which include a woodland walk and a huge meadow and paddock. It is worth the walk to get to the paddock where you will find chairs to sit on and enjoy the stunning view over the Ceredigion countryside. Ten minutes away, the thriving historic market and university town of Lampeter offers a range of independent shops, a couple of supermarkets and a selection of cafés, a far cry from when it was once an important place for the 18th century drovers to gather their livestock. Although you are well situated for travelling to other areas of Wales including Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire and the Brecon Beacons, you will not be short of places to explore within beautiful Ceredigion and West Wales. Less than 10 miles away is stunning Cardigan Bay, and you must not miss a visit to the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, the pretty seaside resort of New Quay and Aberystwyth, with its pier, promenade and the steam train taking you to Devil’s Bridge and waterfalls. There are 60 miles of coastal path and plenty of lovely beaches and coves to explore. Visit the National Trust sites of the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and take an underground tour of Llanerchaeron, an 18th-century estate and John Nash designed mansion house. Venture towards the Cambrian Mountains and discover the market town of Tregaron and the Cors Caron Nature Reserve and wetland, with a lovely accessible boardwalk to enjoy the landscape and wildlife. Cyclists can access a section of the Ystwyth Trail. The wilderness of the Cambrian Mountains are one of the few remote areas left in Britain and have some of the most scenic routes you will ever see.
