Centrally placed in the pretty village of Chapel Stile, renowned for its walks to suit all ages and abilities, you can literally leave your car at the door and set off for a great day’s adventure. For the more energetic, the Langdale Pikes and Harrison Stickle are not far away, or for a gentler route on the low levels, a scenic circular walk taking in Dungeon Ghyll could be more your style. In the village itself, you have the well-stocked local store. For a taste of real ale and a hearty cooked meal, the local inn is just a short walk away too, or for a little pampering, a visit to the nearby spa could be the special treat you need.
