Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory is a great spot for birdwatchers, or visit Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve. Great family days out can be had exploring the many castles in this part of Kent including Deal, Walmer and Dover. Do not miss the historic town of Canterbury, just 25 minutes in the car, and you can visit the stunning cathedral which forms part of a World Heritage Site and is often described as ’England in stone.’ Take a wine tasting tour at Simpsons Wine Estate or at Barnsole Vineyard.
