This gorgeous barn conversion is set in the Snowdonia National park in the owner’s grounds. Plasau Barn has been restored to a good standard, has some fabulous views of the owner’s gardens and the surrounding countryside, and has a dedicated garden for its guests. Retaining lots of its original features, the barn comprises of a modern kitchen leading through to a living room with a wood burner and then on to a sun room which also has a wood burner and is a great place for dining and watching the local wildlife at play. There is a double room on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom, a further two bedrooms on the first floor, then a family bathroom. To the front of the property is the lovely secluded peaceful terraced garden with seating/dining area and the backdrop of the former piggery, which provides bike storage, outside games and a barbeque. There is also a large fence fish pond. There are plenty of activities and walks to be enjoyed in the area. Dolgellau is 13 miles from the property and a must visit is Cader Idris mountain, great for running, walking, climbing and has some fantastic views. There is also the Mawddach Trail, again great for walking or even cycling, with flat terrain most of the way. There is a great pub to stop at along the route. For beach lovers Barmouth beach and harbour is approximately 23 miles from the property and offers a real seaside retreat.
