Lytham town centre is a perfect place to watch the world go, by with a good mix of restaurants, bistros and coffee shops, many with outdoor seating giving it a lovely cosmopolitan feeling. Leafy Clifton Street is home to charming boutiques, independent shops and high street names, and boating, cycling, shopping and swimming can all be enjoyed nearby. Lytham is home to its own brewery, and the area is internationally renowned for golf with a selection of courses including the prestigious Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club. A leisurely stroll will take you to the seafront and the remarkable area of Lytham Green where the freshwater of the River Ribble meets the saltwater of the Irish Sea. Neighbouring St Annes-on-Sea is home to rolling sand dunes, traditional seaside pastimes and a laughing statue of the comedy legend Les Dawson.
