This terraced cottage, now owned by the Charles Causley Trust, is preserved very much as it was when he resided here, including original furniture and his writers study. Now, it is open for the summer season for holiday guests who are interested in the history and art preserved here. The house is situated on a quiet side lane in the little market town of Launceston, the ancient capital of Cornwall. Launceston is an interesting town, with its Norman castle perched high on a mound in the centre of town, and a traditional steam railway. Steeped in history and surrounded by rolling countryside, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Tamar Valley, and north Cornwall with its dramatic coastline and fascinating heritage.
