White Lodge is situated in the superb landscaped grounds of an historic Scottish highland country estate. This truly exceptional, single-storey cottage is surrounded by beautiful parkland with thousands of acres of hills and moorland adjoining. The standard of accommodation throughout this delightful cottage is of the highest quality, from the solid wood flooring to the furniture and furnishings. The main living room has a feature wood burner and dual aspect windows look out across the open parkland, with a small lochan and stream nearby. There are three superbly presented, spacious bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and two with twin beds, all very attractively presented with colour coordinated soft furnishings. The two bathrooms are equally spacious, with large deep baths and a separate shower unit. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with built in units and top of the range electrical equipment. Whilst in a rural and tranquil location, White Lodge is easily accessible, being equidistant between Aviemore and Inverness, both approximately 14 miles away. The Corriebrough Estate owns salmon and trout fishing rights on the renowned River Findhorn and guests are welcome to fish by arrangement. This lovely river meanders through some of the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere in the Highlands. Walkers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts will adore the superb countryside right on the doorstep. The nearby village of Tomatin has a well-stocked local store and further facilities are available in the charming village of Carrbridge, just 10 minutes’ drive away. There are unlimited places of interest and sporting opportunities in the area, including Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield, historic Fort George, the Cairngorm mountain range and all the outdoor pursuits that this amazing region facilitates.
