Situated on the high street, voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016, explore the plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants there are on offer, as well as the oldest sweet shop in the world. Enjoy a stroll along the river Nidd, which runs through the town, and explore the pretty riverside park. Situated in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and near to the Yorkshire Dales, there are an abundance of delightful walks and cycle routes within easy reach. The picturesque villages of of Grassington and Malham offer stunning scenery and are just a short drive away, as are the popular towns of Skipton and Harrogate which are well worth a visit, all less than 22 miles.
