This stone built annexe is located in the village of Mearbeck sitting on the cusp of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With its remote location, next to neighbouring working farms,this is ideal for couples to come and have a peaceful break in the countryside surrounded by plenty of walking and cycling routes and is the perfect spot to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Visit Settle (2 miles) to enjoy the weekly market, where the square is filled with stalls offering a wide variety of crafts and goods. Get out and about amongst the limestone crags which make up the landscape around this part of the national park. Close to Settle is Giggleswick (2.5 miles), famous for its beautiful chapel. Skipton (14 miles) and Malham (9 mile) are also within easy reach, while further afield is the stunning Forest of Bowland (21 miles). Furnished to a wonderful standard and perfect for a romantic retreat, the property resides on the owners' grounds with a stunning backdrop of the distant hills. Step inside this reveres level annexe and take the stairs up to the open plan lounge and kitchen. The compact but well equipped kitchen provides you with all you need for a self catered stay and is ready for you to rustle up speedy breakfasts or a three course dinner. The kitchen includes an electric hob/oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The exposed beams above provide this space with a rustic ambience and a romantic setting. Snuggle up on the sofa and listen to some music or watch a classic movie on the Smart TV. A shower room is located just off the lounge room with a shower and WC. When the night calls, head down the stairs to a comfy king size bedroom with a wood burning stove to create that ultimate romantic setting. Raise a glass of bubbly to your romantic getaway outside and relax in your hot tub admiring the beautiful views. Parking is available for 1 car. Dogs are charged at 20 each per full or part week.
