Situated on a farm that s been owned and run by the same family since 1954, this romantic hideaway is set just over a mile from Patterdale village with its selection of country pubs. This area is a great base for visiting the Northern Lakes and Fells, and there are some great walks and bike routes to explore from the door. Walk to Ullswater and take a trip on one of the steamers, or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls. Enjoy paddleboarding or book horse trekking, or for something a bit different, why not go alpaca walking? This pretty, well equipped shepherd s hut offers a great open plan space with a raised double bed, wall mounted Smart TV, dining area and French doors looking out over the fells. The cute bijou kitchen area is perfectly equipped for rustling up a nice breakfast or romantic dinner, with a Belfast sink, microwave, two ring hob and fridge/freezer. There is a shower room and WC off the main living space. The design and layout of this shepherd s hut offers you a fabulous romantic getaway surrounded by beautiful countryside and a friendly flock! Heading outside, you will find a private seating area to the front of the property overlooking the fells, which is just the place for reading a good book or enjoying a glass of wine after a day of exploring. There is private parking for one car. Just over a mile away, in Patterdale, you will find local pubs and restaurants. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 double bed. 1 shower room with WC.
