The Coach House has an exclusive feel as you take the long, winding driveway to the property's off-road parking for two cars, where you will find the impressive building nestled in a tranquil spot. Entering the property, a smart, contemporary interior awaits, however full of character with original features throughout; gather guests in the open plan living/dining room on the sofas for an evening of games by the warmth of the woodburning stove, or walk under the original stone archway into the connected conservatory, where you can set the dining table for six for a hearty breakfast with garden views. A contemporary kitchen also looks out onto the rich garden where you can prepare picnics for your walks into the Cotswolds or rustle up a hot meal for your guests with an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. When it's time to retire, you will find a quaintly decorated, ground-floor double room with a snug bench seat set into the wall, storage space and an en-suite shower room, beautifully tiled with a walk-in shower to rinse off the day. All guests will relish the spacious, ground-floor bathroom with a stylish finish; set your towel on the heated towel rail and unwind with an evening bubble bath, or step into the large walk-in shower to warm up after a long hike. Be sure to explore your fantastic surroundings with the peaceful remains of Great Witcombe Roman Villa nearby to The Coach House, or for great country walks take the public footpath at the back of the property, which links up to the Cotswolds Way, taking you from Chipping Camden all the way to Bath. Alternatively, follow the public path up to the Cheese Rolling slope on Coopers Hill, used for Brockworth's famed annual Cheese-Rolling event, which provides fantastic views towards the Malverns; following the path in the other direction takes you to Painswick Beacon, looking towards Wales and the River Severn, whilst Crickley Hill Country Park is a short drive away with several trails to explore and a café. Whether you need to stock up the cupboards or fancy a break from cooking, take a short journey to Brockworth for convenience stores and pubs to dine in, or jump in the car and head to Painswick, known as 'The Queen of the Cotswolds', sitting regally upon a hilltop and a delightful base with lovely eateries before venturing on a walk. The Coach House is almost within equal distance of Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud. Visit Gloucester's 11th-century cathedral with the tomb of King Edward II, explore the docks to sit in one of the bars or eateries and watch the world go by, or wander up Robinswood Hill Country Park for incredible panoramic views, ideal for picnics.
