Whitstable is a delightful seaside town that offers plenty of activities for families. The town has a wealth of independent shops and a fine selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs, all within 500m of the cottage. Enjoy the beach and coastal walks as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. Why not take a bike ride along the seafront, the Oyster Bay Trail takes you along the coast to Herne Bay (5.5 miles) and finishes in Reculver, a former Roman settlement, or follow the Crab and Winkle Way to the city of Canterbury (7 miles), which is home to the country s oldest cathedral and the Marlow theatre, the perfect place to enjoy some history and culture. The front door of this beautiful property opens onto the comfortably furnished lounge that features two sofas arranged around a Smart TV and the feature fire. From the lounge, head through to the dining room that offers an original Ercol dining table with seating around a wood burner for guests to enjoy.
