Walks from the door lead to the Broughton Railway Path and the Duddon Mosses Nature Reserve, a delightful place for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy a bracing walk along sand and pebble shores of the Duddon Estuary taking in the wide, open vistas at Haverigg Beach and Millom Beach, both within 9 miles. For those interested in local history, take trip to the ruins of Furness Abbey and the Dock Museum at nearby Barrow in Furness, 15 miles away. From the bunk room, a flight of stairs leads to the games room/snug with table football, books, board games and a TV with DVD along with a selection of DVDs, and four bean bags. Outside there is a quaint, enclosed yard with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. On street parking is available in front of the cottage and there's a secure shed in the yard for storing bikes. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 family room with bunk beds (double below with single above). 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and a WC, and 1 separate WC.
