Walk for 2 miles through the Site of Special Scientific Interest and marvel at the vast array of wildlife, plus exquisite views, before enjoying a delicious pub lunch and hopping on the train at Foxfield for your return journey. Coniston Water (10 miles) makes a lovely day out. Enjoy majestic waterside strolls, climb to the summit of Old Man of Coniston for panoramic views or take a ride on the truly magical Victorian Steam Yacht Gondola. Enter via a gated entrance, where you ll find a gravel parking area. A gentle sloping path then leads you through the beautiful garden and up a few steps to the property. Once inside, you ll find a warm and inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
