This cottage is located in the pretty village of Skelton, with walks in abundance from the front door. There are plenty of footpaths, lanes and routes to explore on foot and a couple of village pubs and shops are just 50 metres away. Penrith (8.5 miles) has lots more shops and restaurants and the ruins of the magnificent Penrith Castle. The popular Blencathra fell is a great spot for a walk, with routes that range from the challenging, such as Sharp Edge, to more gentle ones suitable for beginners. If you prefer the water, Ullswater is 14 miles away and a great spot for boating, fishing and water sports. Attached to the owners house and a real home from home, this two bed cottage is great for families and friends. Head through the porch into the property s hallway and hang your coats and place your boots. The pretty and practical kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge/dining room is open plan and a sociable area to enjoy together. There is a dining table with four chairs, comfortable sofas and a TV with Freeview and DVD for you to take some time out. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one king size and one twin, and a family bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage including wardrobes and chest of drawers, and lovely views out the windows. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. Take the doors from the living room out onto the raised patio area with table and chairs. The perfect space to enjoy an evening drink, admiring the views that surround you. There is a side garden with lawned area and further seating for your use. The rest of the grounds are shared with the owner. Parking is available for one car on the driveway and the closest pub is just 50 metres from the house.
