For cyclists, the Coast to Coast route passes the edge of the village, while keen walkers can choose between the heights of Eycott Hill and Berrier Hill, both just 3.5 miles away. No visit to this area is complete without a trip on one of Ullswater s famous steamers, from which you can enjoy stunning scenery accompanied by a drink from the on board bar. Meanwhile, just 5 miles away, the bustling town of Penrith offers a good selection of shops and amenities. Inside, the inviting accommodation is bright and spacious with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, wooden flooring and tasteful neutral decor.
