There is a double bedroom and bathroom on the same floor and stairs lead up to a king-size bedroom and twin bedroom on the third floor, the king-size bedroom boasting an en-suite. The village retains its charm and character, has some interesting shops and is the smallest village to have a full-time cinema. There are plenty of attractions in the immediate area, meaning that you can take a rest from the driver's seat for a few days and explore the region on foot. Take a ride to the charming harbour at Lynmouth on the water-operated cliff railway; the views on the train journey are truly breathtaking. A walk to the spectacular setting of the valley of rocks, which is about a mile walk from Lynton, where you may meet the resident herd of goats, is a must. Enjoy a stroll along the East Lyn River valley from Lynmouth, one of Britain's deepest river gorges, to Watersmeet where there is a NT tea room and visitor centre.
