You re also not far from the impressive Lake District National Park, the brink of which is just 12 miles away. Venture inland to explore the waters of Bassenthwaite (15.5 miles) or Derwentwater (22.5 miles) or perhaps embrace a Lakeland fell with a long walk up Skiddaw (21 miles).
